Monica's priorities went through some majore changes with the birth of her son, Henry in July, 2007.

As of this writing, she has qualified for the both the 2010 US Ski Team and US Paralympic Team for XC skiing, and will compete at the 2010 Vancouver Paralympic Games .

The 2010 UCI Para-Cycling World Championships will be in Canada, and there is a slim possibility the proximity of the event could lure Monica out of [handcycle racing] retirement.
